Barack Obama gives the Queen an iPod
US President Barack Obama and his wife Michelle meet Britain's Queen Elizabeth II during an audience at Buckingham Palace.
President Barack Obama has given Queen Elizabeth II a personalised iPod.
Obama's motorcade snaked up the Mall to Buckingham Palace, and the new US president had tea with Her Majesty, who made her first visit as monarch to America in 1957, four years before Obama was born.
The iPod player was loaded with pictures of the Queen's visit to Washington and Virginia in 2007 and 40 songs from popular Broadway productions, including The King and I, West Side Story and Dreamgirls.

The Queen reportedly already owns an iPod, the sovereign apparently buying a six-gigabyte silver model in June 2005.
Her second son Prince Andrew, fourth in line to the throne, was reported to be behind the move, having bought his mother a mobile phone and taught her how to use it in 2001.
"The Queen loves music and was impressed by how small and handy the iPod is," a royal insider told The Sun at the time.
